You don’t always get the trip you planned — sometimes you get the one you need.

One Way to Paris is a tender, atmospheric coming-of-age mystery about self-worth, friendship and the quiet battles young people fight beneath the surface.

Meike was supposed to go to Paris.
Instead, she’s stranded in the Ardennes, forced into a team-building weekend she never asked for. When one of the teens suddenly disappears, the group is confronted with fear, suspicion and the uncomfortable truths they’ve been avoiding — about each other, and themselves.

Rooted in real conversations with young people about pressure, loneliness and the search for belonging, the film blends naturalistic performances with a moody, cinematic landscape. What begins as an awkward school trip slowly unravels into an intimate portrait of vulnerability, resilience and unlikely connection.
Featuring a breakout ensemble cast of young actors, with standout performances shaped through improvisation and co-creation.
One Way to Paris is designed as both a cinematic experience and a conversation starter for classrooms, youth groups and community screenings — inviting audiences to talk about mental resilience, self-acceptance and what it means to ask for help.
